As someone who is only interested in the walking sprites, would you consider releasing the parts as individual layers? I already bought the 8D character creator but I prefer manually recoloring and reconfiguring the sprites myself like paper dolls with layers.
No that's not possible. 8D cant take any uploads due to how things are built. This pack was built before the creator so it has it's own simpler format and very limited frames. As it's supposed to be simple NPC's it can only compliment anything made in the creator by offering premade sprites.
I am hoping to release a generator in which you can swap out the knife for various farming tools. There's only so much space on the sheet so I think that set will serve as the animation for tools like pick axe and hatchet. Maybe the broom can have a rake.
Would it be possible to export the cloathings, hair styles, items, weapons and other stuff as single layers? This would allow to create near endless variations of characters.
That is possible. I was considering releasing the PSD layered file as a separate purchase once I accumulated enough layers. The same goes for the Busts but it's a bit more tricky. Would require users to be familiar with photoshop/gimp editing and layers. So debating if that's something I should list or not.
One of my favorites artists whos Patreon I am releases a spritesheet for every component (base/body, tops, bottoms, facial hair, hair, items/weapons) with all the animation frames. You just have to place them on top in the correct order. It's really simply an grants a lot of freedom.
Btw: Do you have a Patreon including your work?
If you are interested in pursuing the layers idea - I'm a web dev and would be happy to build a character generator using your graphics that you can then release.
I think that's a good idea. But I have and elves and dwarves pack planned. Along with some enemy types so not too sure what order to tackle that with along with Modern now,
I purchased this pack earlier this week at a price point of $20, and it didn't include the faces. Is there a way I can get those too? I don't mind paying for them. Thanks.
have you tried to redownload it? I'm not positive how it works but I assumed you should be able to just download it again since you already purchased it.
One, if not the best guy to get the most bang for your buck. High quality assets through and through for an affordable enough price. Pack is massive and can easily give you enough variety to make your entire game.

I could consider that. Send me an email and i'll send you the layered file.
Are there any template ?
Do you mean a sheet with no outfit?
yes
If I own 8D Character Creator, is there a way any of these be uploaded into 8D to be modified in the creator?

Are these clothes options and such also in your 8d character creator?
around half are in generator I would say. Some are unique variations and some are completely unique to the pack.
I see, that makes sense. Thank you for the quick reply.
Any chance for farming tools for all 4 directions?!

Amazing! Can't wait for this, thank you so much.
Are you planing on adding enemy map sprites?
It's a popular request so I want to try and get that started ASAP.
I would definitely buy!
I am interested on this as well, I like your work so far.
Thank you for the feedback. I am excited to start but I have try and clear some time to dedicate to it.
great ! I am willing to pay for unique humanoid villains (necromancer, witch, dark knight etc ) and enemy map sprites.
Any chance youll be doing aquatic enemies?
I have been trying to wrap up a few packs. Beachside, mountain and mythical foes all close to complete.

Is there a recommended tileset that goes well with this style?
There might be more, but off the top of my head I know https://winlu.itch.io/ and https://plaza-us.komodo.jp/products/fsm-town-of-beginnings-tiles. Pretty much anything that isn't too hard pixely or retro should work.
Awesome, thanks!
These are so cute! I love your style!
Thank you!
Hey, so this is really amazing, would you be doing a more modern NPC ones? That would be great..
I think that's a good idea. But I have and elves and dwarves pack planned. Along with some enemy types so not too sure what order to tackle that with along with Modern now,

Got it, thanks!
Do you do sprite and face commissions in this style btw?
Yess. Sprite sheets in 8 directions start at $40. Face sets or bust range a little more depending on certain details but are around $40 on average.
Noted, thanks!
Amazing!
I'm interested to know if you have any plans to add children either to this pack or as an item on their own?
Thanks a million for your work.
Children for sure on the way. Also face sets and matching busts will be added to the pack.

Awesome! The only thing that would make this (and future additions) perfect would be face icons to match.
I am about half way through the face/busts at moment.
Woohoo!
Absolutly fantastic!
